OBO Research group mission is to research and publicly promote viable agricultural, agricultural product processing practices and waste management that contribute to the sustainable growth.

The focus is on herbal extract production and utilization of plant waste in development of new product.

The research group is organized as a “project activity cluster”, having its members join in on specific research topics.

Research of production mechanisms for re-use of plant waste in agricultural production

Research topics:
- Research of best practice and economical viability of micro bio-digester technology
- Research of technical process and the economical viability of grapeseed oil extraction and extraction of tannins from grape pomace
